What exactly is "Silhouette View"?
Silhouette View is a unique privacy feature that allows clients to obscure their live video feed into a gentle, anonymous silhouette. The therapist can still hear them clearly, but the client's facial expressions and surroundings are hidden. This helps clients feel safer and more comfortable when discussing difficult or emotionally intense experiences.

Is PsyTell secure?
Absolutely. Privacy and security are not afterthoughts they are the foundation of PsyTell.

Sessions cannot be recorded: Neither by the platform nor by participants.

End-to-end encryption: Protects all video, audio, and data streams.

Zero data storage: We do not store, log, or retain any session content on our servers.

Ephemeral notes & chat: Any notes or messages taken during a session exist only temporarily and are permanently erased afterward. Users may choose to receive a secure email summary or copy their notes manually.

Do I need to sign up to use PsyTell?
Therapists must create an account to schedule sessions and invite clients.

Clients do not need to sign up. They receive an email invitation with a direct link or a room code and can join the session instantly no registration, no download, no password required.

Do I need to download an app?
No. PsyTell is a browser-based platform. It works on any device with an internet connection desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. No software installation or app download is needed. Simply open your browser, click the link, and you are in your session.
